A section can look perfect and still hide problems that add tens of thousands to a build. We look for them before you commit.
Slope Stability
Signs of past ground movement, steep or unstable slopes, and whether the building platform is safe.
Soils and Foundations
Soil type and strength, soft ground or reactive clays, and the foundation type you are likely to need.
Wastewater Suitability
If the site has no town sewer, whether the soil can take an onsite wastewater system to TP58 standards.
Stormwater and Flooding
Overland flow paths, low-lying ground and council flood hazard mapping.
Erosion and Earthworks
Erosion-prone ground and how much earthworks a building platform would need.

Timing and Cost
